About

Meridith

Movement has been at the foundation of who I am since a very young age. At the core of my personality, my love for exercise led me to pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science at Elon University in North Carolina. Recognizing my desire to share my passion for movement with others, I completed my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With the goal of helping patients optimize movement at a young age to support them throughout their lives, I sought out a career in pediatric physical therapy. With 5 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy, I have had the opportunity to see first-hand how important it is to establish confidence and joy in movement at a young age with the goal of building upon those foundations for a lifetime. I also recognize that being a young female athlete has its challenges. As someone who fell in love with running in college, I know the feeling of being injured and not knowing where to turn. My goal is to empower young female athletes to find joy and confidence in doing what they love which has led me to founding Her Stride Physical Therapy & Wellness.

I cannot wait to help you and your young female athlete
